Testing Zinc Coating of Hot Dip Galvanized Steel Cross Arm

The customers from Malawi have requirements of the Zinc coating, 505g/m2 (Min) about 7800mm 132kv galvanized tension steel cross arm.

We authorize SGS to do chemical stripping sample by weighing before and after submerging in antimony –trichloride solution acidified with concentrated Hydrochloric acid until removal of zinc coating and weight difference measurement.

The tested results is 1817 g/m2 average.
