OPGW Tension Set

Applications

1.Tensile clamps for OPGW optical cables are mainly used to connect optical cables with a breaking strength of 160kN and below to tensile poles, corner poles and terminal poles. The complete set of OPGW optical cable strain clamp includes outer pre-twisted wires, inner pre-twisted wires, supporting connectors and grounding wires.

2.When OPGW optical cables are used in specially designed running lines such as large spans, high drop, large corners, etc., when the breaking force reaches 160kN or more, the reinforced double tension clamp is used.

Purchase notice:

a. According to the ultimate tensile strength and outer diameter of the OPGW cable, select the appropriate tension clamp.

b. Quantity configuration: 1 set/terminal pole tower (including gantry); 2 sets/tensile pole tower, turning angle greater than 25° and OPGW connecting tower.

c. The standard configuration of the clamp is right-handed. When left-handed is required, it should be specified in the order contract.

d. It is recommended to use this clamp once after it has been under full tension.
