Whole Set OPGW Dead End

OPGW preformed tension clamp is generally used with the optical cable when the RTS (rated tensile strength) of the optical cable is greater than 120KN, and connects the remaining terminal poles of the optical cable, the tension poles, the connecting poles, and the poles with a rotation angle greater than 25°.

Configuration: 1 set of terminal poles/tower, and evenly 2 sets/towers of the towers with the extension angle (elevation angle) greater than 25°.

Composition: preformed inner protection rod, preformed outer rods, U-shaped ring.

Preformed inner protection line rods:

The material is aluminum-clad steel wire, which is the same material as all the aluminum-clad steel wires of OPPC cable.

The inner wall of the protector rods is glued with a layer of gold steel sand through a high-strength polymer water-soluble environmentally friendly adhesive to increase the friction with the optical cable.

The rods is preformed into four sub-bundles during production, which is convenient for quick installation. The rods wire materials for the middle and outer tension clamps are selected.

The aluminum-clad steel wire is pre-twisted in the factory and made into a bundle with a firm layer of white corundum sand adhered to the inner wall, which has reached the condition of reducing the pressure on the optical cable to increase the tensile strength.

Purchase notice:

a. According to the ultimate tensile strength and outer diameter of the OPGW cable, select the appropriate tension clamp.

b. Quantity configuration: 1 set/terminal pole tower (including gantry); 2 sets/tensile pole tower, turning angle greater than 25° and OPGW connecting tower.

c. The standard configuration of the clamp is right-handed. When left-handed is required, it should be specified in the order contract.

d. It is recommended to use this clamp once after it has been under full tension.
